I could use a pedi

Pedi socks, that is. Which is why — when I was looking for a last minute project to cast on — I reached for a simple pattern from Patons (also available on Ravelry).

I’m using the same yarn that is suggested in the pattern — Patons Stretch Sock — but in a different colorway. (This one is called “Plum.”) These socks will be perfect to keep my feet warm whenever I feel the need for a home pedicure. Yeah, yeah, I know — I haven’t gotten very far on the project. But, it’s fun to pick up the needles when I have the time.

Still need to cast on for the Berry Hill Fingerless Mitts (a gift for my sister, although there isn’t a completion timetable). And, I still need to add the fringe to the lengthwise scarf (and wash, stretch, and block it — it’s a little short for my liking, but oh well). I’ll get to them eventually.

Pedi socks are such a great idea. I would like to have some too! I think they would be the easiest socks to get around to finishing as you get to leave off the toes ;) I hope you are finding some time to knit them! I’ve had little knitting mojo, as you can tell by all the other subject matter on my blog lately. I’ve given up keeping it primarily knitting and am letting all the other stuff on there! Anyway, post another sock pic when you can show how the color variegation is working out!
