I was catching up with my blog reading only to realize that Natalie tagged me for this fun little meme. So, here goes…
Six Weird Things About Me
THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the ‘6 weird things about you.’ People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says ‘you are tagged’ in their comments and tell them to read your blog.
1. I like movies about real life sports stories. I don’t care how cheesy they are. And I’m not even that athletic of a person. But make a movie about a coach who did some good, or a player who overcame some major obstacle, and it’s instantly going on my Netflix queue. (I can now take Invincible off my list, though. They showed that on the 13.5 hour flight home from Hong Kong.)
(Incidentally — my husband, who was a jock in school — has no desire to watch these movies with me.)
2. I do not have an iPod. I think I’m the only person in the country without one.
3. When I lost weight a few years ago, I realized that the garment industry doesn’t seem to think people exist in my size and height. I already knew they thought people my height were freaks of nature. But apparently, it’s even more rare to be 5’10″ and wear a size small shirt.
I mean, seriously — is it too much to ask to have a shirt that isn’t too big for me and doesn’t stop at my naval?
4. I like to eat my Skittles in color-order. I might eat a green one first, then an orange, then a yellow, etc. Then, I follow that same order until all of the Skittles are gone.
5. Although I am right-handed, I play pool (billiards) like I’m left-handed.
6. I sing in my car. Loudly. As if I’m a rockstar. But, I normally wait until at least dusk, because then passing cars are less likely to notice.
I’m tagging Amy, Jennifer, and Kristine. (Ok, so that’s not six people. Sue me.)

I am 5’9″ and wear a size small shirt as well. It sucks. And why don’t they make long sizes available in more places, nearly everyone has a petits section, how about a few pair of pants with an inseam that is longer than 30″?
You would think with all the tall, skinny models, clothing for people like yourself would be abundant. Of course, maybe they make it special for them. I read that Dakota Fanning is the new model for Marc Jacobs, and they had to make the clothes special for her small frame.
Maybe you should just become a model and have clothes made for you. Don’t they get to keep what they pose in?
Don’t worry, I don’t have an IPod either. I’m not sure what your reasons are, however I personally don’t like them.
